Pro Bono

Pro bono is the lawyer term for providing legal services to the poor. I have provided pro bono legal work to individuals who cannot afford an attorney for my entire career. I always have several pending cases in which I am not charging the client for my services because they cannot afford to pay an attorney. Many of these cases are in areas in which I do not normally practice, such as divorces or child custody disputes. I have served as the Chair of the Delivery of Legal Services Committee for the Mississippi Bar and have received awards from both the Mississippi Bar and Jackson Young Lawyers Association recognizing my work in pro bono cases.
